Kanga Cup Ambasador Watch

Well done to Sally Shipard and the Matildas for the valiant performance in China the FIFA Women's World Cup from September 10-30. The Matilda's lost in the quarter finals 3-2 to Brazil. They performed so well - we at the Kanga Cup are so proud of you! Sally was at the Kanga Cup as a player.

 

Kaz made his Hyundai A-League debut for the Melbourne Victory against the Wellington Pheonix in a 2-2 draw on the 26th August and is enjoying the challenge of learning the art of being a professional footballer. Kaz is on loan from Benfica Portugale and was at the Kanga Cup as a player.

 

Ben Wilson enjoyed being the Assistant Referee for the Australia v Argentina (Messi show) on September 11 in Melbourne. He is also regularly an Assistant Referee in A-League matches. Ben was at the Kanga Cup as a referee.

 

9 v 9 for U10's in 2008...

We will be introducing a 9 v 9 competition for the under 10's for 2008 in a way to 'graduate' teams into the tournament. The games will be played on smaller fields. and the cost will be only $50- per registered participant.
